The Oklahoma State seal is moved from Guthrie to Oklahoma City in a midnight auto dash, and Governor Haskell and officials plan an immediate capital relocation. Governor Haskell’s daughter Jane Haskell is mobbed in Guthrie for cheering Oklahoma City.
Madriz claims UUH sailors intervened to halt the revolution ending, preventing further violence and securing a pause in the conflict. The report notes the sailors moved to prevent a dangerous escalation and preserve stability amid unrest.
