Monroe Leaders Visit Camp For Polk Training Parade
Two Monroe civic leaders will tour Fort Polk training areas this weekend as the 95th Training Division aids the regular army in Vietnam era soldier training. Mike Hammett and James W Moore will visit Moore units, view battalion and brigade headquarters, and attend the division parade. The Oklahoma-Arkansas Louisiana division arrived at Fort Polk June 1 for its annual summer camp. The Eighth United States Army marked its 24th anniversary in Seoul with a ceremony at its headquarters.
