Sudden Squall Drowns Two on Black Lake Near Campti
A sudden squall on Black Lake six miles from Campti Louisiana yesterday toppled 15 boats and drowned two men. The victims are A Z Woodard 38 from Tyler Texas and J F Land about 65 from Nacogdoches Texas. Judge S P Marshall of Nacogdoches and Dan Gilliam of Campti were rescued along with Comeaux Franklin of Campti. The storm lasted about ten minutes.
