Feud blamed for Slaying near Mooringsport
In Shreveport Louisiana on June 8 a long standing feud was cited by officers as the cause of Jack Williams a 25 year old who was shot and killed on a highway near Mooringsport. Jack Griffis 38 surrendered and was jailed accused of the slaying claiming self defense. Previously on January 25 Williams and Griffis fought and Griffis was stabbed. Williams later jailed for a time. Witnesses say two shots were fired last night after the men met on the road with Griffis in a car and Williams on foot.
