Mysterious Shreveport Auto Death Clears Fairfax Case
Oliver E. Fairfax a 34 year old laboratory technician with Drs Nis and Butler was found dead in his sedan in woods near Chaufers turn around on Shreveport road. A bullet hole in his right temple and a pistol held between folded hands show he died by self inflicted gunshot. Coroner Dr Ellis P Butler reported the death as by own action. Fairfax left home May 28 about 7 45 am and did not go to work prompting a call to his wife then the discovery was made by a neighbor at about 7 am today.

Rioters In Limoges Riot Wounding 20 Police Guard Injured

Four Die in Cloudburst at Wibaux Montana
A cloudburst sent Beaver Creek flood waters through Wibaux Montana drowning four people including Reverend A A Seifert and his wife. The church and many homes were carried from foundations causing an estimated two hundred ninety thousand dollars in damage. The flood inundated two thirds of the town to depths up to eight feet. Sever Knutson and R A Thompson were the other victims.

Young Child Drowns in Minden Natatorium

Arrest Two Women Near Here Friday
Police in the parish arrested Vera Kaines 23 and Vernice Eason 20 along with Amos Walton of West Monroe after a meeting in the woods with fugitives Frank Darby Bruce V Brown and Richard Brown. Death of Gastonia Police Chief in Loray Mill Camp Clash
Widespread unrest followed a confrontation between guards at the Loray mill camp and Gastonia city police. Chief O L Aderholt died after being wounded in the line of duty. Four others were hospitalized, with two in serious condition and one nursing bird shot wounds.
