Monroe City Council Meeting Sets 1915 Budget and Ordinances
Monroe Louisiana city officials convened a June 7 1915 session approving the finance committee report listing numerous city payments and adopting a detailed budget for May 1 1915 to April 28 1916. The council passed several ordinances including tax collector commissions 1.5 percent and a 5560 dollar appropriation for city expenditures.
