Right Rev. W. A. Guerry Episcopal bishop of South Carolina was shot in the chest by Rev. J. H. Woodward of Brunswick Georgia who then killed himself. Woodward died en route to the hospital while the bishop remained in critical condition at the hospital operating room seeking bullet location.
