Police Sergeant Fatally Wounds Negro After Clash
Police Sergeant D. T. Flanagan was struck below the left eye with a revolver by Tom Grey on South Fourth street and Texas avenue during an arrest attempt. Flanagan fired three times, then collapsed and later identified Grey’s body in a ditch on South Third street.
