Copenhagen reports via London that a Danish steamer witnessed a clash off Hanstholm with a German fleet of five dreadnoughts eight cruisers and 20 torpedo boats. British torpedo boats stopped the Danish ship to check papers as cannons opened fire. The action lasted from 5 to 9 pm with Zeppelins seen en route.
