A blast at Plymouth Rock caused a sand hole but did not crack the granite boulder. Police say the rock suffered powder burns, no injuries reported, and no immediate suspects. Bomb squad, FBI agents, and ATF joined the investigation as authorities consider a dynamite origin.
California Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr. wins in Rhode Island where the uncommitted option gains the most votes. The result previews next Tuesday's pivotal primaries in California Ohio and New Jersey as the season remains unsettled with no clear victor in either party.
British MPs and fishermen condemn a cod war peace pact that cuts British fishing off Iceland.
