Louis Betchel, one of 11 Kansas penitentiary escapees, was captured near Dripping Springs Okla after a noon Friday sighting, as three more convicts eluded officers. Oklahoma deputies and five county sheriffs hunted the wooded frontier three miles west of Siloam Springs after a gun battle and a truck ambush on highway No. 33. Police held the town under guard after reports of armed men near Flint four miles northwest.
