The two Grand street parcels near the court house are being sold to Ouachita Abstract & Guarantee Co and L. E. Stevenson for 300 dollars per front foot. Stevenson plans a two story brick building and moves his business into the site. The McGuire brothers will dismantle the cattle barn and replace it with new brick construction on the adjacent lots.

After a sleepless night following a camping trip she believed herself a failure in her art studies and used a silk stocking to end her life.
