Second Lt. Howard E. Stittsworth, 21, Wakefield Kansas, was sentenced to life imprisonment at hard labor by a court martial in Marana Field Arizona for murder and flying regula tions violations after his low flight caused a car crash on Highway 89 killing Earl W. Nepple of Los Angeles. His wife and another passenger survived.
