A Hodge man Clentis D. Maxwell aged 69 died when two pickups collided on La. 155 seven miles northeast of Jonesboro. Maxwell crossed the center line and hit James A. Speights 54 of Choudrant. Speights was treated and released. Coroner Betty Stevenson said Maxwell died at the scene. no charges filed.
