Booze Car on Dixie Overland Brings Arrest
Deputy Clyde Mitchel and Sheriff A J Thigpen seized twenty five gallons of liquor in five gallon cans hidden in a ditch along the Dixie Overland highway near a stalled car. Joe Delaney aged 24 sleeping inside was arrested and jailed in Ouachita parish. A second man fled. A .38 revolver was found on Delaney.
