Baton Rouge reports 44 new or expanded school buildings for African American students in Louisiana from July 1924 to June 1925 with total cost 136,934 dollars. Rosenwald fund contributed 27,800 dollars, local blacks 26,119, whites 5,245, and parish police juries 77,770. Ruston led with six rooms at 16,500 dollars, Caddo Parish had 12 new buildings, Claiborne 7. Insurance on these projects totals 115,250 dollars.
