Rayville Youth Drowns At Black Lake River Near Jonesville
An 11 year old Rayville boy drowned at Black Lake River near Jonesville while swimming with a group during a picnic. Robert Island fell from an inner tube in the river and died. The body was recovered at 7:37 p.m. and taken to Douglas Funeral Home in Monroe with services pending.
