Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Clark of Perryville returned from a summer trip with their children Dennis Doyle and Letty Gale visiting in Houston at the Astro St Louis Cardinal game. They toured Galveston Beaumont Orange and Lake Charles on the way home. Mrs A R Staley of Naples Florida and sister Mrs O G Etheredge of Pensacola visit their mother Mrs H C Salisbury. Broadwater Beach Hotel Biloxi hosts Mr and Mrs A V Schiro and daughters Carol Ann and Cherrie with Mrs Chris Slavant. Redwick Martins host Mrs Harold Harter and Miss Jean Harter of Ann Arbor Michigan. They take Misses Susan and Ann Martin to Brevard North Carolina for Transylvania Music Camp lasting six weeks where Susan, a cellist, won the Hinda Honigman scholarship and Ann, a violinist, won a camp scholarship from the National Federation of Music Clubs.

Officer Election A Highlight Of Pen Women Meet
The North Louisiana Branch of the National League of American Pen Women held a luncheon at the Admiral Benbow Inn as officers were elected. New officers include Mrs Joe C Brown Jr president and Mrs Roland Brown vice president with other posts filled by local members. Special guests and honorary members were noted along with plans for a Louisiana Landmarks book and a future conference in Lafayette.
