Truck Driver Burned To Death In Texarkana Wreck
North Little Rock truck driver Richard T. Thompson, 24, was killed when his vehicle left highway 11 near Texarkana, rolled 200 feet and caught fire. Fellow drivers and a passerby tried to free him as flames rose, Thompson denying intoxication before the cab was engulfed. Thompson was en route to Nacogdoches, Texas, and the truck was registered to L. & Fields of Little Rock.
