Nelson D. Abell 45 died at his home 1003 South Grand Street Wednesday morning after four years of ill health. He was Monroe Hardware sales manager for 13 years and had worked 25 years with the firm. Funeral services will be held at his residence with two ministers officiating. Interment in Riverview Burial Park. He was born February 1 1924 in Cairo and moved to Monroe in 1908 from St Louis.
