Shreveport Louisiana January 28 Andrew Barnes 44 farmer of Haughton Bossier Parish died of skull fracture from a three cornered collision on the Minden Shreveport road near Red Chute late yesterday. Dement and Dement’s car were eastbound behind the Wimberly car when a truck behind swerved striking the Dement vehicle and hitting the Wimberly car head on. A negro riding the truck was thrown into Red Chute Bayou and nearly drowned. The Dements escaped injury Wimberly was slightly bruised. Dr. R O Carter, Bossier coroner began investigation. Barnes survived by his widow and two sons.
