Herman O Gunn Dies In Orleans Parish Funeral Pending
Herman O Ne al Gunn 54 of 1611 Milton St Monroe died in a New Orleans hospital after a lengthy illness. Funeral arrangements are incomplete but will be under Mulhearne Funeral Home Monroe. Gunn had kidney transplant mid November at Ochsner Foundation Hospital and the transplanted kidney was functioning but complications arose. A Caldwell Parish native, he lived in Monroe 23 years, worked for Louisiana Department of Highways six years and Missouri Pacific Railroad 29 years. He was active in Boy Scouts Little League Moose Lodge First Baptist Church. Survived by widow Thelma Gunn two sons Keith and Neal, three brothers M Gunn Bailey Gunn Orville Gunn six sisters Barbara Stapleton Frances Wylie Ethel Mott Maurine Smith Benny Griffin Nadine Wachowski and one grandchild.
