Reconstruction finance plan poised for House vote today
Washington January 22 final approval of the reconstruction corporation bill was due in Congress. The House was to adopt the conference report and send it to the Senate with hopes of quick unanimous consent. An appropriation of 500 million dollars was to be approved to fund the corporation and begin releasing fresh credit to replace liquid assets.
