Dr. Strickland Dies in Monroe After Heart Attack
Dr. Dee A. Strickland longtime Monroe dentist and Masonic leader died early today after a heart attack. Funeral arrangements are pending under Kilpatrick Funeral Home. He served in the U. S. Navy as lieutenant commander and held numerous Masonic titles including Grand Master of Louisiana. He is survived by his widow, a son, a daughter, a brother, and two nephews. Memorials to the Masonic Home Education Foundation in Alexandria are requested.
