The Athens municipal council unanimously voted to confer the freedom of the city on President Wilson Premier Lloyd George Georges Clemenceau and Foch. The five principal streets were named for the leaders.
A series of blasts at the McCabe Oil and Powder Co plant in Tunnelton near Johnstown Pennsylvania leveled the facility last night. Reports say 1009 pounds of dynamite exploded as flames followed the explosions. No injuries or further details are available.

A small wreck at 4 50 this morning in the Shreveport yards at Commerce street crossing of the L R and N and V and P tracks delayed two passenger trains Nos 12 and 6 for several hours. The Av S and P engine struck an unoccupied U R N passenger coach overturning it and blocking the crossing. No injuries occurred and other service was unaffected. As No 12 neared West Monroe the bridge was opened for a steamboat pass delaying the train about twenty minutes.
Amsterdam dispatches describe heavy street fighting near Berlin Central Telegraph office with artillery. Sparlecsue renewed attack on the chancellor's palace but was repulsed, leaving about thirty killed and forty five wounded.
Paris reports that the Ebert Schneidmann government has fallen after heavy fighting in Berlin. Independent socialists form a revolutionary government as Spartecan forces seize key points. Civil war spreads to parts of the Rhine and Bavaria as Gustave Neste plans new troops to restore control.
