Aged Nurse Killed in Lafayette Wreck
In Lafayette Louisiana an elderly retired nurse died and two pregnant women were critically injured in a crash between an ambulance and a station wagon at a city intersection. The dead is Mrs Nannie F Vestal 68 of Lafayette. The injured are Mrs Frank Stroud 20 and Lillie Mae Petry 24 from Basile transported by ambulance. Officer say the ambulance ran a red light and the two vehicles overturned. The driver Ernest McAntile 53 Basile faces charges yet unspecified.
