James F. Eldridge, 30, of West Monroe, is jailed on two counts of attempted murder after a 2:20 a.m. shooting near Twilight Cafe on Jonesboro Road. His wife Elaine Eldridge, 22, and friend John Whitlock, 50, were wounded and hospitalized. Eldridge said he followed the group and fired after instructing them to stop.
