The Wesleyan Service Guild met at Mrs. J. Roy Medlin’s home with co host Mrs. John O Shea. The group voted to donate fifty dollars toward a new church youth room under construction. Devotionals by Mrs. G E Lanehart and Mrs C Pierce preceded a social with icee punch sandwiches and cookies. Large attendance reported.

The Tallulah Post of Allied Youth hosted a Monday evening dance at the Book Club building with pastel decorations, a replica Allied Youth pin on stage, and a central tea-table arrangement. The FBI reports Ed Logan Moseley, labeled the Souths slipperiest fugitive, captured in Oil City by a Caddo Parish deputy. He faces charges in Tennessee and North Carolina for transporting stolen cars and issuing worthless cattle-check payments. Authorities say Southern officers have tracked him for over a year.
