A 250000 calcium arsenate plant to assist cotton growers will be built in Monroe by the Boll Weevil Insecticide Co owner of headquarters in Paragould Arkansas. The plant will operate at Monroe Cotton Oil Co site and employ about 60 men with 7 tons produced daily. The project funded by the corporation includes its own acid plant and packaging facilities.
