George G Weaks Dies. Monroe Leader Funeral Friday
George Gibson Weaks Jr 61 prominent Monroe business and civic leader died Wednesday at his Riverside home after a heart attack. Funeral services are Friday at 3 30 p m at Grace Episcopal Church with burial in Riverview Cemetery under Mulhearn Funeral Home. He served in WWII Navy and held numerous posts including president of Souther Industrial Distributors Association and director of Central Bank and CABL aided by family and community groups.
