Clay Fined For Antics At Weigh-In
MIAMI BEACH AP Cassius Clay was fined 2500 for loud antics at the pre noon weigh in for the heavyweight title fight with Sonny Liston. Leeville Tornado Strikes Small Town in Louisiana
A late Monday night tornado hit Leeville Louisiana about 40 miles south of New Orleans causing extensive damage. No injuries were reported but the Lafourche Parish sheriff said several structures were destroyed or damaged including three helicopters a large storage shed owned by Magobar Mud Co and the California Co office building. The Martin and Sons Oil Co building collapsed in the storm which struck around 1145 PM.
