Oklahoma City Feb 23 Gov W H Murray publisher warns daily reporters to credit his pages when rewriting his stories He says he will copyright every rewritten article if not credited Murray and his cousin Col Cicero S Murray bought the paper during his campaign and officials subscribe and follow his positions.
In Bombay on February 23 the government approved whipping as punishment for hooliganism after riots showed that ordinary penalties fail to deter hard liners. The explanatory note cites prolonged rioting and seeks a harsher measure to curb violence.
