London dispatch reports ten thousand Munich workers marching to the city center as violence erupts. Police and party factions occupy rail stations while a claimed workmen dictatorship forms and vows vengeance for Eisner and the interior minister.
National drive funds Jewish education and religious institutions. Sig Haas appointed chairman in this city with Rabbi David Fichman and Barney Sugr assisting. Campaign boosts Hebrew Union College and related Jewish services across the nation. 450 local quota set.
Washington reports 71 318 officers have resigned or been discharged while 7 164 518 soldiers have been released. The weekly War Department summary follows a deferment of General March's interview due to holiday. In Chile radicals press for prohibition mirroring the United States.

London feb 22 Reuter s Limited says the commission probing German submarine excesses has sufficient evidence to convict about 20 submarine commanders of murder most are in Germany. Seven commanders have notably bad records and their surrender and trial could be demanded as a clause in armistice terms.

Half of the local quota for the Armenian Relief Fund has been subscribed with many parishes overfulfilling their goals. A. V. Miller chairs the committee and urges workers to complete canvasses by the 24th. Funds will buy food clothing farming implements and seeds for Armenia and Syria. Herbert Hoover supervises transport of relief supplies as state councils aid the effort. A letter from Vice President Marshall dated 11 1918 expresses sympathy for Armenia and Syria and urges justice for victims while awaiting Peace Council decisions.
Paris reports a definite official British position on seized German warships. Britain insists the ships be destroyed and plans to present this demand to the Supreme War Council as part of peace proposals.
The George Washington steamer, Feb 21, is about one thousand miles east of Boston heading ashore at seventeen knots. President Wilson is occupied with work and rest during the voyage and may delay a full statement to a later occasion. In Munich, Munich protests threaten with red flags as workers call for a general strike amid unrest and factory closures.
Investigation into the Weiler explosion and fire that wrecked the Mobile Electric Co. plant in the city found that partial service may resume Monday. One dead and thirteen in hospital, with several buildings destroyed and the city plunged into darkness. Loss estimated at 200000 dollars.
Dr. Mary Walker aged 87 died at her Bunker Hill home after a long illness. A Civil War surgeon, she was awarded a congressional medal of honor and famed for appearing in male attire by act of Congress.

The National Assembly met amid a disheartening mood as Chancellor Scheidemann denounced the Independent Socialist for allegedly backing Bolsheviks and vowed government victory to end the disgraceful murder proceedings and the worsening strike situation.
Warsaw Feb 22 reports Poles push into Lithuania and Brest litovsk provinces as Bolsheviki retreat from Moniewice in Volhynia leaving many cannons ammunition and armoured trains behind.
