Man Killed by Train Near Holly Ridge
J E Moore of Canton Mississippi, 28, was struck and killed by an Illinois Central train near Holly Ridge shortly before midnight. Parts of the body were scattered along the track for about 500 feet. Moore had come to Holly Ridge to assume a section foreman position this week and was staying nearby. He is survived by parents and relatives in Canton.
