Amarillo Texas February 14 Chester Grounds 25 a policeman was shot and killed while patrolling with two scout cars at a Hammonds family quarrel. Clarence Hammonds 31 ex convict was killed by police an hour later as they stopped him at a filling station after he resisted arrest.
