William W. McMullen deputy city marshal for Monroe and a retired Missouri Pacific machinist died in St. Francis Hospital after injuries from a January 18 two truck crash on La. 15 near Winnsboro. Funeral at Mulhearn Chapel 4 p.m. Wednesday. Burial Riverview Cemetery. Survived by Capie Lee, two daughters Elizabeth Cruse and Pauline Fife, brother Albert McMullen, one grandson and many nieces and nephews. City Court will close at 11 a.m. in his honor.
