Officials Clear Up 11 Burglaries In Morehouse
In a two month investigation the Morehouse Parish Sheriff's Department and Bastrop City Police cleared 11 burglaries in Collinston and Bastrop. Arrested were Charles Ray Williams Charlie Johnson and Fred Kelly Jr all of Collinston on burglary charges. Also sentenced were Thomas Blocker 18 and Bobby Anderson 17 of Collinston to 91 days on theft charges with probation and restitution. Charles Craig 20 of Bastrop is out on bond on a theft charge. Stolen items included antique washpots gas from school buses and vending machine money. Authorities say activity has slackened since arrests.
