Funeral services held for Chester Wagoner Calhoun crash victim

Funeral services for Chester Wagoner 30 of Calhoun were held Sunday afternoon at relatives' home in Brownville with Rev. Strong and Rev. Hemphill conducting. Interment followed at Mount Olive cemetery. Survived by his mother widow and three children. The wreck occurred on the Dixie Overland highway seven miles west of Monroe when his car collided with a vehicle driven by Jack Murphy. Wagoner sustained a skull fracture. Murphy suffered cuts bruises and a jaw injury.
