Thomas J Meredith a Caldwell Ninth Ward farmer died at his home from a ruptured bladder. He was 73, native of Caldwell parish, survived by two brothers and two sons, Arthur and Dempsey Meredith. He was noted for thrift and integrity, never defaulting on obligations. The Caldwell Bank & Trust Company declared a 10 percent dividend for 1921 and re-elected C A Taylor president, John R Brown vice president, and A B Bridger cashier.
