New Orleans Supreme Court upholds Thomas J. Addison police juror Vernon Parish verdict. Addison must serve a term in the state penitentiary for taking a bribe to perform his duties as police juror. The court says he was fairly and legally tried.

The Italian steamship Montebello, aground outside the Galveston jetties last Thursday, was floated today. It sustained a broken rudder post and will be towed to New Orleans for dry docking.
Orlando Florida Feb 3 large attendance marked the opening of the twelfth annual State conference of the Daughters of the American Revolution. Mrs Glenville C Frissell state regent presided at the opening session this morning. The conference will conclude tomorrow.
