Nixon pledges inflation cut and prosperity plan

President Nixon told Congress he would cut inflation and push toward full prosperity by mid 1972 without wage price controls. Juveniles Charged in Monroe Vandalism Spree

Six juveniles aged eight to thirteen were arrested by Ouachita Parish Sheriff’s Department for vandalism at Century Ready Mix Concrete Plant on Coleman Avenue Monroe causing about 4500 to 7000 in damages. Windows broken cabinets ransacked coke machines damaged and some equipment destroyed. They were released to parental custody pending juvenile action.
