Four GI Combat Veterans Arrive at Selman Field
Four more veteran combat enlisted men arrived at Selman Field this week. S/Sgt. Olvidio A. Scarlelin served 32 months in the Southwest Pacific and joins Section C. S/Sgt. Richard Barger, in England 28 months, is now in Section A. S/Sgt. Maynard L. Andrews and T/Sgt. Winfred L. Munn, assigned to Section C, are new arrivals. At the start of 1944, 1,450,000 rubber-tired tractors were on American farms. many obsolete models must be replaced by post-war construction.
