Five men arrested after Orleans blast and blaze
In New Orleans on December 29 a blast and fire damaged three double dwellings in the downtown area. Five men Antonio Virgadino Anthony Catalano and his sons Anthony Jr Vincent and Arthur Badichino were arrested as detectives found gasoline kerosene and oil containers at two of the affected buildings. The damage was under 1000 dollars and the case was turned to the state fire marshal. The fires began in units at 1839 and 1841 France street and spread to 1833-35 1837-39 and 1841-43.
