I M Causey of Ruston found his wife dead at Charity Hospital in Monroe on Christmas Day. The woman, treated for pellagra and malaria, died at 5 o’clock, leaving six children in an orphanage and the father unaware of her death until discovering her empty cot in Wellman’s morgue.
