Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Cleggs died after a long illness at St. Joseph's Home. Funeral services were held at Snyder Funeral Home in DeQuincy with burial in Rigmaiden Cemetery. She had been a Monroe resident for six years and was born in Minday. Survived by three daughters Mrs Guerriero Mrs James O Connor of Memphis and Mrs James Earl Rush of Alexandria, son Clay Barbary of Beaumont, Texas, nine grandchildren and 230 great grandchildren.
