Workmen on a federal resettlement project uncovered seven near intact skeletons and multiple pottery pieces in a mound a mile southeast of Herbert Mill gaps place. Skeletons include a child and a six foot adult with painted black clay bowls. pottery shows unique geometric designs. Fred Majors transported the largest skull to Monroe.
