Goodfellows in Monroe pleads for gifts and funds to help over 600 families in need for Christmas. Volunteers with the Monroe Recreation Department screen applicants, while donations pour in to reach and exceed a goal of 22 500 after prior shortfalls. Delivery of bundles starts Friday and runs through Saturday night as contributions continue.
