Packwood Holds Lead In Oregon Vote Recount
In Oregon, 21 counties completed a recount showing Packwood ahead of Morse by 3 445 votes with 15 counties remaining. The recount trimmed 55 votes from both candidates, keeping the margin unchanged at 408 825 for Packwood and 405 380 for Morse. Morse requested the recount after Packwood’s election was certified earlier this month.
