Mrs. Pearl Peyton Oliver, 72, wife of R. H. Oliver Sr., of 201 Louisville Avenue, died Friday at 3 a.m. after a lingering illness. Funeral at her residence Saturday at 10 a.m. Rev. L. T. Hastings officiates with interment at Riverview Burial Park. She was the only daughter of the late George Washington Peyton and Caroline Jordan Peyton of Grand Cane, Louisiana. In New Orleans on December 15 Dr. Philip Montelepre ruled Cyril Forest a 37 year old drug store proprietor from Raceland died overnight from monoxide poisoning. The gas heater in a tightly closed room caused the death. Forest was found in bed at his sister Mrs. Milton Loebs home during a visit.
