Death of young writer in Vieux Carre probed
New Orleans December 15 An inquest into the death of Fred A Wilson II son of a prominent North Louisiana family who died at the Vieux Carre apartment of a friend after a newspaper men party will be conducted. Wilson former private secretary to Creole novelist Lyle Saxon died Sunday noon. Coroner reports say death was due to gas asphyxia or internal poisoning. He slept at Leonard Hinton’s apartment after a party Saturday night and was found dying in the bathroom by Hinton and other guests. He was 26 and attended Georgia Tech Centenary and LSU and belonged to Kappa Alpha fraternity.
